One of the most notable landmarks in Lagos, the picturesque Lekki-Ikoyi Bridge was constructed to offer an alternate route f linking Lekki, Ikoyi, & Victoria Island and its environs. The bridge covers a length of 1.358 kilometres and it offers an escape from the Lekki from traffic congestion at Ozumba Nbadiwe and Lekki.
Lekki-Ikoyi Bridge worth a whooping 29 Billion Naira was commissioned on the 29th of May, 2013 by the then governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Raji Fashola.

agos Tolling Company is the operator of the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge, a 1.346km cable stay iconic bridge, which is yet another major initiative as part of Lagos State Government’s concerted efforts to reduce traffic congestion around Eti-Osa, Lekki, Epe, and Ikoyi environs by providing additional choices and flexibility for road users, through an improved network of top class roads, highways and bridges. The Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge has two lanes in each direction merging to three toll lanes in each direction at the toll plaza. During peak periods, the plaza has been designed to have four lanes in the direction of peak traffic and two lanes in the other direction to increase throughput and reduce waiting times.
